Description
The pressure regulator (or pressure reducer) is a device that acts on a fluid (liquid or gaseous) contained in a tank or pipeline, capable of providing “downstream” (after the pressure regulator) a predefined and constant pressure value, different from the “upstream” value.

The pressure regulator finds application in control systems, where at a design level it is useful or necessary to obtain a change of state for a specific pressure value.
