PTFE/PFA VALVES (PARFLARE)

fittings | semiconductors
DESCRIPTION
PFA pipe fittings of Parare series are designed for use in corrosive chemical management plants and/or for ultra high purity applications (UHP) including semiconductor tube extensions and instrument connections. The fitting design allows leak-proof connection with a minimum dead volume and can be used in side load and vibration applications. Pipe Fittings of Parare Series are manufactured with a special type of semiconductor to ensure performance and adaptability in operations where process cleaning is critical. Body fitting is made of high purity PFA, with a minimal generation of superficial particulates, total organic carbon (TOC) and anions. Fittings are available in a variety of sizes (1/4 inch to 1 inch) and configurations to meet customers plants needs. Many configurations are equipped with Redi-are terminal connections, which save space and make them worthwhile in restricted areas, like valves manifold’s boxes (VBM). Theirs design permits also an easy assembly, reducing installation time and ensuring leak-proof for minimal downtime in demanding UHP applications. Connection is achieved by a hot-flaring process using a heat source and a PTFE spindle (MFT manual forming device tool) or using Parker’s optional FG series electronic forming device gun.
PVDF nuts are standard but can be supplied with PFA nuts or PFA nuts filled with titanate for specific applications. – Redi-are end connections save space and reduce assembly time. – Maximum working temperature: Nuts PVDF – no a 212 °F (100 °C); Nuts PFA – no a 266 °F (130 °C); Nuts group HT: > 266 °F (130 °C). – Pressure Range Informations.

Applications

Corrosive and special chemical agents, acids, bases and semi-liquids. – Semiconductors tools. – Tools connections. – Valve manifold boxes (VMB). – CMP/semi-liquid system.
