DESCRIPTION
JIC fittings, defined by SAE J514 and MIL-DTL-18866, are a type of countersunk coupling machined with a 37 degree countersinking surface. JIC fittings (Joint Industry Council).
APPLICATIONS
They are usually used in fuel delivery and fluid power applications, especially when high pressure is involved (up to 10,000 psi).
