V-RING

Description

The V-rings operate both as seals and as centrifugal rings. Rotating axially together with the shaft, they increase their peripheral speed, so that the sealing lip undergoes the centrifugal force and the contact pressure can be reduced to zero. In this case, the function of the V-Ring is that of a centrifuge.

applications

V-Rings are mainly used in combination with other seals such as oil seals or special bearings. Often used in transmissions and mechanics in general, e.g. for electric motors, agricultural machinery, milling machines. For particularly heavy-duty applications, it is recommended to use VRM01 and VRM02 seals that are characterised by their metal housing.
